quote me

i finished reading anita roddick's book during the week (which i really, really enjoyed and can highly recommend to anyone who is interested in business). the book is interspersed with quotes and i'm a big fan of quotes (i'm thinking that the next issue of little - if i ever get around to it - will be on quotes). my
favourite one was this:

All knowledge should be translated into action.
Albert Einstein

i've never come across this one before and it hit an instant cord. i've been feeling lately that uni is all knowledge and no action, which has been frustrating me slightly (read a lot). but i mustn't whinge. only 3 more exams and then i am done for another year (and only 1 more year to go).

wasn't it the superhero who said something to the effect that the uni(or where-ever) gives you the piece of paper that is necessary for others to acknowledge your expertise. You need the paper which verifies that you have the knowledge, before you can put the knowledge into action, it is a vital (if frustrating /worrying/boring ...) process that you have to complete before you can do what you want to do.

Very soon now you will be able to breathe deeply, relax, and refresh before the last peak of this mountain trek you have embarked on.
